Ponderings....

So Weezy is facing jail time for weapon possession. (No surprise there.) Will he get a chance to promote his upcoming album for a year before he goes up state just like TI. Will he serve "real" jail time? So the BET Hip-Hop Awards weren't as bad as some people anticipated. However, next year they should do it Soul Train style and have all the performers lip-sync. Gucci Mane and Plies sounded like they were about to go into cardiac arrest. Why were they performing over the track with the lyrics? If you don't have the breath control to dance around the stage and your lyrics to be heard then you need to go the Joe Jackson School of Performing Arts. But the best part of the show was the undoubtly, the cypher. It was good seeing Primo holding down the cypher on the turntables. Joe Budden killed that shit!!! But he should only speak when when he's rapping. Black Thought held it down for Philly. What was up with Nikki Manaj's sound effects? And KRS-One held his title as the professor of hip-hop. Goodie Mob's performance was..... Ceelo sounded like he was gonna keel over. It was like hip-hop mixed with gospel music. I was waiting on a choir to join in with the hook. Ludacris killed his performance!!! Everyone should learn breath control from him. But the dj's were definitely shining during the performances. All the cuts and scratches were on point!!! And we can all breathe a sigh of relief that there were no televised nigga moments. Everyone (Drama & Jeezy, Gucci& Jeezy...etc) kept there beef under wraps. Okay so maybe BET isn't as detrimental too black people as hypertension.

Allow me to reintroduce myself....

Sup Yall, 

 I'm new to all this bloggin madness. So bare with me. A little about myself, I am one of the best dj's on the planet! I've been dropping mixtapes for over 10yrs. You probably have a few in your car right now. I have been rocking parties since the (first) Bush administration. Nine times out of ten you've dropped down and got your eagle on at one of my parties. I know with out a doubt I'm responsible for countless after-the-club let out hook ups. But I take no responsibility for the child support fiascos that followed those hook-ups.  By following my blog you will be updated with all the shannigans and tomfoolery that make up my life. I will keep you updated about the everyday occurences at Armands Records. Why is it that any group of niggas with $500 between them feel inclined to build a studio and ruin hip-hop? I don't know. But I'll explore this epidemic and hopefully be able to provide deeper insight. Stay tuned!!!
